Organize your travel photos by linking them to the places you visited, where you stayed, and the days you want to remember. TravelTracker organizes photos through Places Visited, Lodging, and Journal Entries.

How Photos Are Organized

Photos in TravelTracker are attached to specific places and dates rather than stored in a general gallery. This creates a natural organization based on your travel experiences:

Attach Photos To Purpose How It Appears
Places Visited Document places you explored Location detail view, trip maps
Lodging Remember where you stayed Lodging cards and detail view
Journal Entries Illustrate your daily stories Automatically from locations on that date

Photos in Journal Entries

How It Works

  1. You add photos to visited locations with specific visit dates
  2. You create a journal entry for a particular date
  3. Photos from locations visited on that same date appear in the journal entry
  4. The connection is automatic based on matching dates

What Appears in Journal Entries

Journal entries show:

  • Photos from visited locations on that date
  • Photos from lodging where you were staying on that date
  • A combined, deduplicated view of all related photos

Example

If you:

  • Visited the Eiffel Tower on January 15th and added 5 photos
  • Visited the Louvre on January 15th and added 3 photos
  • Stayed at Hotel Paris on January 14-16 and added 2 photos

Your journal entry for January 15th will automatically display all 10 photos.
